Recovery isn’t overnight.

Wow I am amazed at how weak I still am!  According to my Tanita scale, I had lost 7 pounds over my ordeal and two of those were muscle.  Considering how weak and shaky I am, I don’t doubt that at all.  I have been eating on the Dukan Transition Phase (Phase 3) since coming home.  I figure, if there were ever a time I should be eating my veggies, it would be now!  It’s nice having veggies every day to be honest, it’s a lot easier to make appetizing meals.  I’m looking forward to posting the recipe we made last night (coming on Monday) it was so good my mouth waters just thinking about it – nothing wrong with my appetite anymore!  In the meantime, I’m taking it easy, making up some thank-you cards for all the kind family, friends and hospital staff that made my stay as good as it could be under the circumstances.  I have a treadmill stress-test at the cardiologists this afternoon that I’m a little apprehensive about.  On one hand, none of my other tests have shown up with anything so it’s most likely this won’t either, but on the other hand, I’m still having rounds of fatigue and I’m afraid the jog is going to wear me out!
